- 2 slices Pumpernickel
- 4 T Cream Cheese
- 1 oz Smoked Salmon
- ⅛ C Capers Salted
- ⅛ C Onion Chopped
Instructions
- Toast the pumpernickel to your preferred crispness.Medium is good; it maintains some bagel-like chewiness.
- Add any toppings you like. Stick with the cream cheese, but the sky is the limit beyond that. Definitely try it with fresh onions, capers (salted), and smoked salmon.
